Introducing PheedLoop’s New Registration Experience

PRODUCT UPDATE

Registration is getting a major refresh.

Starting September 29, 2026, PheedLoop is introducing a redesigned registration experience built to make registering for an event clearer, faster, and more intuitive — especially when registering multiple attendees.

The new experience changes how registration works and feels, while keeping the things you rely on today. Your tickets, pricing, promotions, payments, confirmations, and reporting continue to work as they do today, with a cleaner experience surrounding them.

A More Attendee-First Registration Flow

The biggest change is a shift from a ticket-first experience to an attendee-first registration flow.

Instead of selecting tickets and then repeatedly entering information for each ticket, registrants will first add an attendee, enter their information once, and then select the tickets that belong to that person.

Registering another person? Simply add another attendee and repeat the process.

This makes it much easier to understand who each ticket belongs to and reduces unnecessary repetition during registration.

Register for yourself or someone else

Whether someone is registering themselves, a colleague, a family member, or an entire group, the new flow clearly separates the registrant from each attendee or ticket holder.

This gives registrants a clearer picture of whose information they're entering at every step.

Make group registration easier

Registering multiple people no longer means entering the same person's information over and over.

With the new attendee-first flow, registrants can enter someone's details once and then assign all of the appropriate tickets to that attendee.

The result is a faster and more straightforward group registration experience.

Collect information at the right time

The registration flow has also been reorganized so that information appears where it makes the most sense.

For example, information collected during the start of registration is separated from information needed during ticket selection, helping attendees move through the process without unnecessary steps or confusion.

Built for Membership and Association Events

The new registration experience also introduces improvements for organizations with membership-based registration requirements.

Smarter eligibility with tags

Contact tag requirements and exclusions can now be respected against member records, extending the same type of eligibility logic already used with ticket tag restrictions.

Easier member identification

For organizations using supported SSO or person-record integrations, PheedLoop can recognize members and apply the appropriate member or non-member tags automatically.

This helps create a more seamless registration experience while giving organizers more control over who can access specific registration options.

What Isn't Changing

While the registration experience is being redesigned, the core functionality you use isn't going away.

Tickets, categories, promotions, payments, confirmations, and reporting continue to work as before.

The update is focused on improving the experience around these tools — making registration easier to understand, easier to complete, and better suited for registering multiple attendees.

A Gradual Transition

We're introducing the new experience through a transition period so organizers have time to get familiar with the update.

Beginning September 29, 2026, the new registration experience will be enabled by default for newly created events.

During the transition period, organizers will have control through a new setting in Registration > Settings.

The rollout timeline

September 29, 2026 — Launch

The new registration experience becomes the default for newly created events.

September 29, 2026 – January 13, 2027 — Transition

Organizers can opt out of the new experience for newly created events or enable it for existing events directly from Registration > Settings.

January 13, 2027 — Standard Experience

The new registration experience becomes standard for all events, and the opt-out option will be retired.

What to Expect in Your Dashboard

During the transition period, newly created events using the new registration system will include a dashboard notification letting organizers know that the new experience is enabled.

Organizers will also see information about the upcoming transition and a link to learn more about the update.

This gives teams time to explore the new flow, prepare their registration setup, and make the transition at their own pace before the experience becomes standard for everyone.

One Current Limitation

At launch, Guest Tickets are not supported in the new registration experience.

Because the new flow requires a registrant to select an attendee before viewing available ticket options, every ticket currently needs to be assigned to an attendee.

We're continuing to explore solutions for this based on feedback during the transition period.

Built to Make Registration Better

The new registration experience is designed around a simple idea: registration should make it easy to understand who you're registering and what they're registering for.

By putting attendees at the center of the flow, PheedLoop makes individual registration clearer and group registration less repetitive — while continuing to support the registration functionality event organizers already depend on.

The new experience begins rolling out September 29, 2026.
