Welcome to the first edition of what will become PheedLoop’s monthly product pulse newsletter. Each month, we’ll share some improvements we’ve made, big and small, that aim to make your experience with PheedLoop smoother, faster and more powerful. Whether it’s a major feature or a subtle tweak, we’ll highlight what matters, and we’d love to hear what you think. 

Quality of Life Improvements

These are small changes with big impact. You may have already noticed a few:

We’ve simplified how you configure registration categories.

Instead of two confusing checkboxes (“No Ticket Category” and “Disable Group Checkout”), you’ll now see a single Category Type dropdown with three clear options.

This makes setup easier, reduces clutter, and sets the stage for more advanced options down the line.

Bonus: your form settings now adapt based on your selection. For example, “No Ticket” automatically hides any payment or ticket settings.

No action needed, we’ve already migrated your existing categories.

You can now capture UTM parameters directly through your PheedLoop registration.

Any valid utm_* parameter (like utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, etc.) passed in the URL when someone accesses your registration flow will automatically be saved to their registration record.

You’ll see these values in your registration exports, making it easier to track campaign performance and lead sources, no extra setup required.

Retroactive Tagging for Tickets & Categories

We’ve made tagging a lot more powerful.

Now, when you add or remove tags from a ticket or registration category, PheedLoop will prompt you to apply those changes to existing attendees, not just future ones.

This means attendees who already registered will be automatically tagged (or untagged) based on your updates. No more juggling spreadsheets or manually cross-referencing reports.

It’s a small change that can save a lot of time, especially for workflows involving automations, segments, or personalized communication.

Member Portal Glow-Up Alert

The Member Portal has been fully updated to use our new design system,offering a cleaner, more modern and smoother experience for your members. This update improves usability, visual consistency, and mobile responsiveness, making it easier for attendees to access the information they need.

This is just the beginning, more updates to attendee-facing experiences are coming soon, and we’ve got some big things in the works for the dashboard too!

Looking Ahead

As we move forward, you’ll notice a theme in many of our updates: refinement over expansion.

We’re focusing on housekeeping, cleaning up, simplifying, and improving the tools you already use every day. Our goal is to make the features you already rely on work better, feel faster, and be easier to understand.

We’ve heard this direction validated time and again in conversations with our users. You’ve told us you want fewer workarounds, less clutter, and a more intuitive experience so we’re building with that in mind.

That doesn’t mean we’re hitting pause on new features, in fact, we have some exciting releases in the works. But the lens we’re applying to everything is: Will this make your life easier? Will this reduce confusion, not add to it?

We know this is the right direction, and we’re excited for you to see what’s coming next.
